Habbo is changing the trading system slightly. These changes have already been made in the UK Habbo Hotel. The changes to the trading system are "Big" as they change a few things but the way you trade is almost the same.

When you login to Habbo, right above your last sign on time it will tell you if trading is on or off with a link to change this setting.

That link takes you to a section of the account settings which allows you to turn on/off trading. You will need to enter your password in order to change this setting. Also when you turn trading back on, you will need to wait 24 hours untill you are able to trade

If you try and trade someone and either one of you has trading off, the trade button is still there but the following message appears and you will be unable to trade.

You also cannot trade unless both you and the person you are trading has a trading pass, if one of you does not have a trading pass then the person with the trading pass is able to give you items but will not be able to recieve anything for them. The trading window has also expanded and can now hold 9 different items.

When you put your mouse over an item in the trade, another box will appear showing you the item in it's real size along with the items name.

There are also two lock icons to show you if the other person has "accepted" or not (although when they do accept their side gets a green background anyway). After both people ahve clicked "Accept trade" both sides will have a lighter green background. You till have to wait three seconds for the accept button to change into a confirm button. Both people will need to click confirm to complete the trade

There is also a new badge which you recieve when you recieve your trading pass. Notice the "I" underneath it like the other badges. Does this mean there will be different trader levels in the future?

The final change that I noticed is the achievements tab in the badges window. This tab no longer shows you all of the achievements that you have not gotten yet, instead it only shows you the next achievemment for each type of badge.
